Go For YOur Life - How To Turn Your Weekdays Into Weekends Through Property Investing
(2005) |
Pennon Publishing , 201 p, paperback
Chris Gray came into my writing life just as my wife and I were thinking about moving to the Blue Mountains – which we have yet to do. And so the topic of real estate was not alien to the household, in fact Robbie and I were quite fascinated with Chris’ facility at conversing about property. And so, we wrote the book, which I hope helps others.
People who will enjoy it: You need a ‘start’ to make Chris’ ideas work – enough for a deposit, and of course you need an interest in real estate. However, having jumped those two hurdles, Chris explains how you can make more per annum in real estate equity than you can ever hope to make working a regular job.

Raving on: When I met Chris I realised that this was the younger generation. He wanted a Porsche by the age of 25, I didn’t want a Porsche at all. I wanted antiquarian books and the complete Tiny Tim CDs, and he was very polite about all that. He had a Ferrari in my drive, I was fixing/painting a Knight’s Templar altar in the study. I didn’t mention the Ferrari, he didn’t mention the altar.
However, he insisted that we shouldn’t sell the house. He said we could borrow against it. If in the end we don’t follow his advice, he’s still right.
